In this vlog, Jorge Luis Inchauste, Partner at Dentons Guevara & Gutierrez in Bolivia talks about the mining landscape in Bolivia and trends on the latest litigation risks. Bolivia is known as the heart of South America and due to its proximity to the Amazon, it is home to many natural resources. Bolivia’s main minerals are tin, silver, copper and gold. Over the past years, there has been growing interest in the development of the lithium reserves. In 2014, changes to mining regulations saw an increase in litigation.
